Thank you for being interested in studying at Munich School of Management! We would like to give you a short impression of the faculty and some practical information for organising and enjoying your stay.
Munich School of Management is one of 18 faculties at Ludwig Maximilian University (LMU), one of the leading research universities in Germany. LMU stands for excellent research coupled with a long tradition, and the standing of our faculty is founded on a history of educational innovation of over 150 years. The School, which is top-ranked among German business schools, consists of 16 academic institutes, with approximately 140 lecturers and teaching assistants. Every year about 400 students graduate and approximately 50 postgraduate students receive a doctoral degree in Business Administration. The professors possess eminent academic credentials and a dedication to teaching. Munich School of Management offers a great variety in research and teaching.
Last but not least, Munich is one of the main business locations in Germany, and the city and its surrounding countryside offer innumerable opportunities for quality leisure-time such as beer gardens, the opera, theatres, the Oktoberfest and skiing in the wintertime, to name just a few.
